One man dead after crashing into building

Amarillo, TX - One person is dead after crashing into a building in Amarillo.

It happened just after midnight on Saturday.

Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Southwest 3rd Street where a vehicle collided into an abandoned building.

Police report the driver was 42-year old Angel Archuleta.

Officers believe Archuleta may have hit a pole before colliding into the building.

The incident is still under investigation.
