Duncan man arrested on kidnapping charge

DUNCAN, Okla._A Duncan man is behind bars after being accused of kidnapping another man who had been texting his wife.

Antonio Garcia, 26, was arrested at a home on the 400 block of Ash earlier this week. The police report said Garcia had gone through his wife's phone and found text messages from another man. Garcia texted the number back from his wife's phone and asked the man to come over.

When the man arrived, police said Garcia held him at gunpoint for an hour and threatened to kill the man several times. During the ordeal, the victim claims Garcia videotaped him making a plea for his life. Afterward, Garcia called 911 and turned himself in.

Garcia told police, “It took everything I had to keep from pulling the trigger.”

Garcia is being held in the Stephens County Jail on a kidnapping charge.
