Looting following vigil near St. Louis

FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) _ Authorities in St. Louis County, Missouri say there've been no reports of injuries, but there have been scattered reports of assaults in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson.

Mayhem followed last night's candlelight vigil for 18-year-old Michael Brown, who was shot multiple times and killed after a scuffle involving a police officer.

Some people began looting businesses and vandalizing vehicles.

Ferguson Mayor James Knowles told KTVI-TV that it was a ``small group of people are creating a huge mess.''
