High speed chase ends with two men in custody

Amarillo, TX - A chase, by car and on foot takes Amarillo police all around west Amarillo.

According to reports, police pulled over a Ford Ranger in the 4200 block of South Western. But the driver took off at a high rate of speed.

Within minutes of putting out a vehicle description, other officers saw the car near 5th and Prospect.

Both the passenger and the driver took off on foot near this location. The passenger, 20 year old Austin Day was caught and arrested.

The driver, 39 year old Wayne Guinn was caught and arrested later near 10th and Travis
