Investigation ends with meth related arrest

LAWTON, Okla._A Lawton man is facing felony charges for dealing meth.

Augusto Perez-Ramos appeared in court Friday to face the judge. He was arrested Thursday night after a sheriff's deputies raided a house near southwest 10th Street and 'G' Avenue. They found $2,500 worth of meth, along with marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Investigators had been watching the house for several months and used a confidential informant, who made three controlled purchases at the house.

Perez-Ramos told investigators he would buy an ounce of meth every two or three weeks, cut it up, and give it to people to sell for him. He's also facing charges for possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

If convicted of all charges and given the max sentence, he could be facing life in prison.
