Officers Calling for Chickasha Police Chief's Resignation

CHICKASHA, Okla._The Chickasha Police Chief is in jeopardy of losing his job after a racially insensitive post on Facebook.

The post in question comes from a scene from the comedy "Role Models." Chief Eddie Adamson shared the video with its original caption which read, "how a real n-word orders Starbucks."

City officials say its clear Adamson did not know that word was used in the caption, and he immediately apologized. Officers with the Chickasha Police Department say the chief crossed a line, and he either needs to resign or be relieved of his duties.

The Chickasha city manager says they hope to reach a decision on how to deal with the situation by the end of the week.
