Amarillo Special Crimes Unit opens missing person case

Amarillo, TX - The Amarillo Special Crimes Unit is opening a missing person case for a man who has been missing since October of 2010.

Mark Burkett, Jr. was originally reported missing to the Randall County Sheriff's Office.

During the course of the investigation, it was learned Burkett might have been in Amarillo at the time of his disappearance.

Burkett goes by the nickname of "Bubba" and Saturday will be his 24th birthday.
