Lawton police investigate double shooting

LAWTON, Okla._Lawton police are still piecing together what happened early Wednesday morning when two people were shot and wounded.

Police were called to northwest 22nd Street and Hoover Avenue just before 1:00 a.m. Wednesday after a man and a pregnant woman were shot. The woman was shot in the hand and in the hip; she is in stable condition. The man was shot once in the thigh. Police said the unborn baby will be fine.

Police do not have a suspect or any suspect description. Police said that neither of the victims nor any of the witnesses are cooperating with the investigation.
