FRISCO, Texas (AP) - Authorities have confirmed that the bodies of a man and woman found at the suburban Dallas home are those of the parents of a boy found dead there in January.
In a statement issued late Thursday, Frisco police say the Collin County medical examiner has confirmed the bodies are those of 43-year-old Sumeet Dhawan (soo-MEET' dah-WAHN') and his 39-year-old wife, Pallavi (PAH'-lah-vee) Dhawan.
Police had charged Pallavi Dhawan with murder in the Jan. 29 death of the Dhawan's 10-year-old son, Arnav (ahr-NAHV). She had been free on $50,000 bond on the charge. A medical examiner's report had said a natural cause was the most likely cause of the special-needs child's death.
Officers Wednesday found Pallavi Dhawan's body in the family's backyard pool and Sumeet Dhawan's body in the house.
