Turk pleads not guilty to jail escape

WALTERS, Okla._A man who escaped from a Cotton County jail and went on the run for four days will stand trial for the crime.

Robert Turk was back in court Thursday morning where he was expected to change his not guilty plea, but instead, he decided to maintain his innocence. Turk is also awaiting another trial on charges of shooting his ex-wife and shooting at her friend.

He will stand trial for the jail escape on October 20.
