Duncan water restriction at Stage 4

DUNCAN, Okla._The city council voted to roll their water conservation status back to stage four.

The discussion followed the recent rainfall that lifted the Waurika Lake levels soared to 43%, up from roughly 30% just last week. Under stage four restrictions, residents would be able to water once a week.

Those living south of Elk Avenue can water on Saturdays from midnight till 9 a.m.

Those living north of Elk Avenue can water on Wednesdays, during those same hours.

The new restrictions take effect Wednesday.
