Lawton completes bulk clean up

LAWTON, Okla._After several bouts of severe weather, and an employee shortage that put Lawton's bulk clean up weeks behind schedule, the City Manager's Office reported today they finally finished picking up in the last section of town Thursday morning.

Residents who think part of their neighborhood may have been missed, or need to schedule a special pick-up should contact the Solid Waste Division at 581-3413.

Any debris that may have been blown into yards during the storms should be picked up and put into regular trash bins.

Senate Republicans are now considering two versions of similar legislation, one that would repeal and replace, and another that would simply repeal "Obamacare" with a two-year delay for implementation to give the Senate more time to agree on a replacement.
