Man pleads no contest in rape of high school student

NORMAN, Okla_ A 19-year old suspect accused of raping an Oklahoma high school student is sentenced to two-years in prison.

Tristen Killman-Hardin pleaded no contest on Monday in Cleveland County court. He was accused of assaulting a 16-year old Norman high school student who police say was intoxicated and incapable of giving consent. The case got national attention after students protested outside their school, unhappy with the way administrators handled the rape allegations.

In addition to prison time, Killman-Hardin will also have to register as a sex offender for life.
