Flooding causes problems for local cattle farmers

LAWTON, Okla._One Comanche County residents living in the danger zone of East Cache Creek is looking for a new place for his nearly 100 bulls.

East Cache Creek is now just 150 feet away from his home and has flooded the fields Jerry Mullen keeps his bulls. He now has to find a place that's accessible to put them, but he's still not worried about the flooding.

"We never get more than we can handle. I don't think this is any different," said Mullen. "There's not an extreme cause for concern right now but it's something to think about and it's time to start planning."

Mullen believes the water will get even closer to the house before it recedes but says they'll be staying put.
