Flooded substation causes power outages in Temple and Grandfield

WALTERS, Okla._A flooded substation in Walters has left some residents in Temple and Grandfield without power.

A spokesman for Public Service Company of Oklahoma said 638 customers in Grandfield and 562 customers in Temple have been without water since 3 o'clock Monday morning.

PSO is bringing in generators from Dallas to hook up to substations in Temple and Grandfield. However, they do not expect power to be restored until Tuesday morning unless the water recedes.

The company is asking for your patience as they work in difficult weather conditions.
