IKE grad receives National Merit Scholarship

LAWTON, Okla._The Lawton Public School district has another National Merit Scholar.

LPS announced Friday that Jack Johnson, of Eisenhower High School, received his scholarship from the University of Oklahoma. He's the third National Merit Scholar from Lawton this school year, joining fellow Eisenhower graduates Brooklyn Busse and Joshua Rancourt.

Around 1.5 million students were considered for scholarships. Only 7,600 received them.
