7 injured in 2-vehicle collision

COMANCHE COUNTY, Okla._Seven people were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident on Meers Porter Hill Road at U.S. Highway 62.

The collision happened just after 8:00 a.m. Tuesday. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the driver of a minivan ran a stop sign while heading west on Meers Porter Hill Road and crashed into a truck that was headed south on U.S. 62.

Two adults and three children inside the minivan were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Two people in the pickup were taken to the hospital as well.

No word on the extent of their injuries.
