More area counties submitted for FEMA disaster relief

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla._Two area counties have been added to the latest list submitted to FEMA for disaster relief.

Jefferson and Kiowa counties are among fourteen on Governor Mary Fallin's request for aid to repair damage in storms and flooding that have hit the state since May 5th.

The request will help county and local governments pay for debris removal, damage repairs, and other storm related costs.

So far, FEMA has approved public aid for 40 of Oklahoma's 77 counties.
