LAWTON, Okla._One of the teenagers charged in the murders of a Lawton man and his son was sentenced to life in prison, plus ten years.
Ethan Thompson had pleaded guilty October 2014 to two counts of first-degree murder and one count of conspiracy to commit murder in the killings of Uwe and Stefan Rushing.
Thompson admitted to helping Thorsten Rushing plan the murders of his father and brother. Thompson said he sat in a closet in the Rushings' home for hours while Thorsten fired the deadly shots. After the murders, he helped get rid of some of the evidence and drove away with another conspirator.
Thompson was sentenced to life on both of the murder counts and ten years for the conspiracy charge. Two of his fellow conspirators, Cody Davis and Timothy Delahoy, have also pleaded guilty and will be sentenced on Monday. Wesley Bankston was sentenced Monday to life in prison for his role in the murders.
