GoFundMe page set up to help family of 2-year old drowning victim

ARDMORE, Okla_A GoFundMe page has been set up for an Ardmore family whose 2-year-old son drowned in a creek by their home.

Crews recovered the body of Jeremiah Mayer around 3:00 p.m. Thursday just 100 feet from his home. The boy was swept away in Hickory Creek Wednesday night. Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the toddler's body was found 30 yards from where he was missing.

According to the GoFundMe page, his father is a Marine veteran who recently lost his job and his mother is pregnant with their third child.

    Lawton Police officers were able to help the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Police Department capture a man wanted for murder. Zakee Denzel Peterson was wanted for murder, robbery, criminal conspiracy, no license, and simple assault in Philadelphia. The Lawton Police Department’s Gang Unit went arrested Peterson on the warrant without incident.
