TURNER FALLS, Okla._Crews have started working on getting traffic flowing in both directions on I-35 after a rock slide closed northbound lanes just south of US-77.
The Overland Corporation started construction on a crossover that will move northbound traffic onto one southbound lane for about half a mile. Construction started Friday and is expected to be finished Sunday. They plan to work around the clock until the crossover is completed. Once completed, the speed limit will be reduced to 50 mph in that area.
Once the crossover is completed and traffic is flowing again, drivers should still expect delays while repairs are made to the northbound lanes of I-35.
ODOT is still looking for solutions to stabilize the area.
