Cameron University tuition increases by 4.5 percent

LAWTON, Okla._The OU Board of Regents met Wednesday and decided to raise tuition costs at Cameron University for the 2015-2016 academic school year.

Undergraduate students can expect to pay an extra 4.5 percent, or $8, per credit hour. According to Cameron's website, each credit hour currently costs $178. Cameron University received less state funding for the upcoming school year because of the budget shortfall. This is the second time in two years Cameron has raised tuition rates.

The university plans to offset some of the higher cost by increasing scholarships and providing other financial support.
