Lawton man charged with murder

LAWTON, Okla._A murder charge was filed Friday against a Lawton man who admitted to burying the body of another man after the two got into a fight.

Sigfredo Sisco was charged with second-degree murder in the death of his friend, Trevor Boyer. Sisco said they had gotten into a fight, and during the confrontation, Boyer stabbed himself in the chest.

According to an affidavit, Sisco told police that Boyer had been suicidal and that he buried the body because he was scared. The affidavit showed the medical examiner's report confirmed the stab wound to Boyer's chest, but also noted burns on the left side of his body and his right thigh, and that some of his clothing had been burned off.

Police also noted that Sisco had tried to clean up the crime scene in the home across the street where the fight happened. They also said that other witnesses said Boyer was not suicidal, but that Sisco was infatuated with Boyer and upset that he was not able to have a stronger relationship with him.

Investigators said that information, along with Sisco's actions after Boyer's death, led them to charge Sisco with murder. His bond has been set at $500,000 and a preliminary hearing is set for August.
