Dark tint leads to drug-related arrest

LAWTON, Okla._A routine traffic stop led to an arrest after officers found drugs, money and an assault rifle in a Lawton man's car.

Police say they stopped Jeramy Fink by the Phillips 66 on Sheridan Wednesday evening after they saw his car windows seemed too dark. As they were checking the tint levels on the car, which measured at three percent, officers noticed the smell of marijuana coming from inside. Fink hesitated when they asked about the smell, but then admitted to having a bag of marijuana in his pocket. Police found a second bag of marijuana in the back seat.

Fink was also carrying $788 in cash, and police say when they searched his car, they found more marijuana and an assault rifle with a laser sight and suppressor.

Fink was arrested on the complaint of illegal window tint, possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm in commission of felony.
