Pharmacy tech charged with larceny of a controlled substance

DUNCAN, Okla._A licensed pharmacy technician in Duncan has been charged with reprocessing controlled prescriptions.

Police say Jessica Lopez was working at Walgreens November 2014 when she reprocessed her boyfriend's Xanax prescription in order to allow him to fill it twice. In December 2014, investigators say Lopez took an innocent customer's filled Xanax prescription and sold it to her boyfriend's sister.

Lopez has been charged with two counts of larceny of a controlled and dangerous substance.
