UPDATE: Two killed in highway collision

CADDO COUNTY, Okla._Two people have died and two were injured in a vehicle collision just west of Anadarko Wednesday night.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 2004 Dodge pickup was northbound on U.S. Highway 62 and failed to stop when the driver hit a westbound 2006 Chrysler van. The van was hit in the driver's side door and rolled.

The van's driver, 64-year-old Roger Balentine of Cement, was pinned for approximately 90 minutes. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A 3-year-old girl also died at the scene.

A 5-year-old boy was taken to OU Medical Center with head and internal injuries. He's listed in critical condition. A 25-year-old man, who was also a passenger in the van, went to OU Medical Center and was treated and released for a head injury.

The driver of the pickup was not injured.

Seatbelts and child restraints were used by everyone in both vehicles.
