Fire damages part of Lawton home

LAWTON, Okla._A fire forced a Lawton family to evacuate their home Sunday evening.

Firefighters were called to the 900 block of Southwest 5th Street where a small fire had started between the walls of the home.

Firefighters were able to get everyone out safely and extinguish the fire quickly. No word on the cause of the fire.
