5th arrest made in Lawton's burglary bust

LAWTON, Okla._A fifth arrest related to the burglaries on the City's southwest side was made around 2:00 p.m. Monday after another suspect was caught attempting to sell the stolen items.

Police said Aron Chavez was trying to sell the loot to a victim's friend who immediately recognized them and contacted police. After agreeing to meet in a vacant lot at Southwest 7th Street and Park Avenue, the suspect was arrested. 

The burglary victim was able to identify and claim the stolen items.  

The truck Chavez was in at the time was reported stolen from Lawton Chrysler Jeep Dodge.
