Trial date set for third teen in shooting death

DUNCAN, Okla._A trial date has been set for the third teen accused in the shooting death of Australian native Christopher Lane.

James Edwards Jr. will be tried as an adult this September for accessory to first-degree murder. Edwards testified in the April murder trial of Chancey Luna. Edwards said Luna was the trigger man, and Michael Jones the driver in the shooting.

Luna was convicted and sentenced to life in prison without parole. Jones will be eligible for parole in 38 years.

Edwards' trial date is set for September 14 at 9:00 a.m.
