Police investigate west side robbery

LAWTON, Okla._Lawton Police are still piecing together Friday night's robbery at the Crosby Park Apartments.

Police responded to the 5500 block of Northwest Cache Road around 11 p.m. Friday. Police said three individuals robbed a man at gunpoint.

An arrest was made minutes later following a brief chase that ended near a restaurant north of Cache Road.

A second individual who was seen running with the robbery suspect was arrested for resisting arrest. Police are still unsure of that suspect's involvement in the robbery.

Two suspects remain at large.

In light of the slew of recent robberies, Lawton Police have asked gas station employees to be on alert for any suspicious activity.

They are reminding them to be aware of their surroundings, and keep the amount of cash in their registers at a minimum.

Employees have been told to call police immediately if they see or hear anything suspicious.
