ALTUS, Okla._Basketball fans in Altus have a new outdoor court to play on thanks to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Hoyt Shadid Park had become somewhat run down and needed a facelift. It was renovated thanks to the Thunder Cares Foundation. The court comes complete with new goals, fences and of course, a Thunder blue paint job. It is now open to anyone who wants to play on it, but the official grand opening date has yet to be announced.

The park borders the city reservoir on the northwest side near Lakeside Drive.
