New Record on Rodeo's Final Day

Here it is. The last day of the Lawton Rangers Rodeo. The last chance for riders to stake their claim on leader board. They know what has to be done. They know the times and scores they have to beat. Now the rest of the field enters L.O. Ranch Arena in hopes of winning their respective events.

And famed P.A. Announcer Charlie Throckmorton has made the weekend even that much more fun.

1.) Bareback riding. Kaycee Field out of Spanish Fork, Utah, on the horse Empty Pockets, and check this one out. He goes the distance putting himself in the money with a score of 79.
2.) Later, Richmond Champion drew the horse Movie Madness. And he too goes the full eight seconds as well, but he does it just a little bit better. 84 putting him in a split for second.
3.) Steer wrestling now. Josh Clark gets after this one. He brings that bad boy down in 4 seconds flat tying him for the best run of the night with Richard Coats, both now in the money.
4.) Let's go to saddle bronc where it gets special. Steven Dent on Little Angel, but that horse don't act like no angel. Dent gets through the full eight for a stellar score of 77.
5.) But here's the fun. Wade Sundell on the number one bucking horse in the world, Killer bee. This could be the matchup of the week, and Sundell handling himself well. But right as the buzzer sounds he goes into the wall. The judges say he made time on the amazing ride and set a new L.O. Ranch Arena record of 89 points.
