In Class A Carnegie weathered the storm of a very tough district two to win four games and reach the playoffs in 2014. That taste of success has them hungry to get back to the postseason again in 2015.
"We made it last year so we've got that taste back in our mouths and we want to have that back again," head coach Jim Harvey said. "So getting there and getting off to a good start, that's a key for everybody I think is you want to get off to a good start and get things going for you and get them going in the right direction."
The Wildcats appear to have the talent to get where they want to go. They'll rely on a massive offensive line to help clear the way for an experienced group of skill position players.
"You know we return all of our offensive line that's coming back for us. That's going to make a big difference for us. We're getting Luke Kinder back who is our main tailback from last year. So that's a plus for us also," Harvey said.
"We're looking pretty good this year. We've got a big line. Our secondary's really improving from last year and we've got some linebackers that are really stepping up and should be a real threat," said Kinder.
Carnegie will begin the year with three straight home games, starting with a date with Burns Flat on September 4th.
