LAWTON, Okla._If you are looking to build a new home, and maybe needing some ideas or a builder, the Southwest Oklahoma Builders Association is holding its 2015 Tour of Homes this weekend.

This year they have seven builders who have constructed 21 homes in Lawton and Elgin.

Steve Taylor, who is a board member for the builders association, said it's a buyer’s market and this is a perfect time to build or buy a home.

"We have lots available in lots of our subdivisions here in the Lawton area and you are able to see some of the lots, maybe even purchase some of the lots while you're here and also, design your own home if you want to do that, or hire one of the builders we have in the home builders association to build your home for you,” Taylor said.

The open tours will continue Sunday from 1 P.M. until 6 P.M. The project home located at 1105 Thornberry, in the St. James addition off of 82nd Street in Lawton, and a list of home sites is available at swokhba.com
