2015 Snyder Football Preview

As we inch closer and closer to the start of football season, many teams in the area continue to work, including the Snyder Cyclones. This team knows adversity having not finished over .500 the last five seasons. On top of that, the team's numbers are down after graduating eight seniors from last year. Head Coach Robert Babcock has been pleased with the work his team has put in and sees the situation as a teaching tool. Not just for the sport of football, but also much more.

"They've come out, they've been ready to work when they come out and I've very much appreciated that because it's not easy out here. There's nothing about this sport that's easy, you know. So what we're stressing is football is a lot like life. You know, it's fun and it's awesome and it's awesome to be a part of it. But you're going to have to push yourself through some hard times," says Babcock.

"I'm going to have to say we're working a lot harder on being stronger and faster and we're working together as being more of a team this year. Not worried about wins and losses, but more just getting stronger and faster and becoming a better team. We want to put it all out there that we have and really we just don't want to have any regrets on what we did and know that we became the best team that we could be," says Cole White, Senior Quarterback.

The team will open up the 2015 season at home against Central Marlow September 4th.
