Lawton teen sentenced for role in double homicide

LAWTON, Okla._A teen convicted of helping his friends plan and carry out the double murder of a father and son appeared in a Comanche County courtroom Tuesday afternoon for his formal sentencing.

Cody Davis was sentenced to 20 years in prison and 15 years of probation for his role in the murder of Uwe and Stephan Rushing early last year. He will receive credit for time served. D

Davis pleaded guilty in October 2014 for conspiracy to commit murder and accessory after the fact. Ethan Thompson pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder in the case and was sentenced to life in prison plus ten years. Timothy Delahoy was sentenced to five years in prison for conspiracy to commit murder and two counts of accessory after the fact.

The accused gunman, Thorsten Rushing, is still awaiting trial.
