Road rage incident leads to gunfire

LAWTON, Okla._Police are searching for the individuals involved in a vehicle collision that resulted in gunfire Wednesday evening.

Several witnesses told police they saw a white Cadillac Escalade hit a red or maroon Dodge truck near the intersection of Gore Boulevard and Sheridan Road at 5:14 p.m. Both drivers got out of their vehicles and began to argue. Witnesses say the driver of the Dodge truck got back into his vehicle and drove into the Escalade. They also say he began to shoot at the Escalade’s driver with an AK-47 or SKS.

Both of the vehicles were then seen driving north on Sheridan Road toward Rogers Lane from Gore Boulevard.

Two shell casings, one live round and an iPhone 6 was found.

There have been no reports of injury or property damage, and neither of the parties involved have been located.
