Overnight fire destroys home

LAWTON, Okla._A Lawton woman was forced from her mobile home overnight after it went up in flames. Firefighters from stations one and two got the call around 1 a.m. Friday.

They say flames and smoke were coming from the trailer home near SW 3rd and Washington.  Crews had it under control in about 15 minutes, but not before the fire burned through the roof and destroyed the home.

A woman who lives there escaped unharmed. We're told she's now staying with family.  The fire marshal was still on the scene late this morning trying to figure out how the blaze started.
