Woman arrested after shooting investigation

LAWTON, Okla._A Lawton woman is behind bars, accused of shooting another woman.

Police say 27-year-old Satin Smith got into a confrontation with the woman at an EZ-GO on Cache Road. During the confrontation, Smith pulled out a handgun and shot her. The woman was taken to the hospital for her wound, where she got in contact with police at 2:25 a.m. Saturday.

Detectives continued to investigate and placed Smith under arrest for assault with a dangerous weapon.
