DUNCAN, Okla._Duncan police are investigating an afternoon shooting, but they're not getting much help from the person who was shot.

Police say the shooting happened just after 1:00 p.m. in an alley behind a church at Elm Street and Viola Street. A 19-year-old was heard yelling for help. He said he was shot and needed someone to call 911.

He was gone by the time police arrived, but just over an hour after the shooting, he showed up to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the thigh.
