Arrested: Man accused of threatening Duncan officer

DUNCAN, Okla._A man is in the Stephens County Jail, accused of threatening a police officer who found him passed out behind the wheel.

Keith Berg of Noble, Oklahoma, was arrested Sunday after an officer found him asleep in his vehicle in a parking lot at 14th and Walnut. A court affidavit says the driver side door was open and Berg, who smelled of alcohol, was asleep with his legs hanging out of the door.

The officer says when he woke Berg and asked for his ID, Berg began shouting obscenities and tried to shut the door. After being placed in handcuffs, the officer found marijuana in Berg's pocket.

The affidavit says during booking, Berg admitted to pulling over because he was too drunk to drive. He also said he would hunt down the officer when he got out.

Berg is facing several charges. His bond was set at $10,000.
