Man arrested, one in hospital after shooting

LAWTON, Okla._A man was taken to the hospital after being shot multiple times in a Lawton neighborhood overnight.

It happened on the northwest side near 13th Street and Taylor Avenue around 12:30 a.m.

Police said Joseph and Edward Mallory got into an argument outside a home and that's when Zbyd fired shots at Mallory hitting him multiple times. Then Mallory ran. Police said he made it about a block to the corner of 12th and Taylor before he collapsed.

Zdyb and a witness were taken to the police station for questioning. Zdyb was later booked into the Lawton city jail on a charge of shooting with intent to kill.

Mallory was taken to Comanche County Memorial Hospital where he underwent surgery last night. No word on his current condition.
