Sterling mother pleads guilty to child neglect

LAWTON, Okla._A Sterling mother pleaded guilty Tuesday to child neglect.

Amanda Page, 32, is accused of using meth while she was pregnant. On October 10, 2014, Page went into premature labor and gave birth to her daughter, more than a month before her expected due date. The baby weighed just over three pounds and had to be flown to OU Children's Hospital.

Doctors say the baby girl was suffering from methamphetamine withdrawals.

Page's sentencing date has been set for December 29 at the Comanche County Courthouse.
