No injuries reported after truck goes off road

STERLING, Okla._A truck driver was taken to a local hospital after police believe he passed out behind the wheel.

Sterling police say the driver had recently left a rock plant in Fletcher late Thursday morning and was passing through Sterling. Chief Mike Barker says it appears the driver had a medical issue and passed out behind the wheel. The truck continued south on Highway 65, went through an intersection, left the roadway and crossed another street before coming to a stop near Oliver Street. He was taken to Comanche County Memorial Hospital to be checked out.

No one else was hurt in the incident.
