Car wreck leads to drug, weapon, burglary arrest

WICHITA FALLS, Texas_A Wichita Falls man was arrested after police found meth, a shotgun and stolen property in his vehicle following an accident.

Police responded to an accident at the intersection of Borland and Iowa Park Road just after 7:00 a.m. Tuesday. Officers found the vehicle and 33-year-old Jack Allen Gant III, along with the odor of ether. A search of the vehicle yielded approximately two grams of methamphetamine, pseudoephedrine, items used to produce meth, a shotgun, and stolen tools and paperwork.

The tools and paperwork were stolen from a home on the 2700 block of 9th Street.

Gant was arrested on complaints of possession of a controlled substance, possession certain chemicals with intent to manufacture, felon in possession of a firearm and burglary of a habitation.

    The three teenagers who were killed after they allegedly broke into an Oklahoma home have been identified Authorities say three teenagers dressed in black and wearing masks and gloves broke into a Broken Arrow home through a back door Shortly before 12:30 p.m. on Monday. Officials told KFOR the homeowner’s son, 23, killed all three teens with an AR-15.
