Altus Police investigate murder-suicide

ALTUS, Okla._Altus Police are investigating two deaths that occurred Friday night. They originally responded to a welfare check at the Applecreek apartments near Ridgecrest Road and Park Lane.

When police arrived, officers found a woman's body. Later they responded to a shots fired call and found a man's body. A

Altus Police tell 7News this is being investigated as a murder-suicide, and the two individuals did know each other, though their relationship is unclear.

Police say they will continue their investigation through the weekend, and more information should be available on Monday.
