Bus delays for LPS students

LAWTON, Okla._An important notice for parents with children in the Lawton Public Schools Tuesday.

Significant delays in busing are expected over the next two days. The district announced the possibility of delays due to emergency drill training on Fort Sill scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday. The post said delays are more likely for schools in the central part of the city, but buses serving any school or grade level may experience a delayed arrival or departure.

Parents are encouraged to prepare their children for the possibility of buses running late for the next two days.
