Two arrested in attempted robbery of restaurant

WICHITA FALLS, Tx_Two people have been arrested in connection with an attempted robbery at a Jack in the Box restaurant.

Charles Fugett, 26, is accused of working as a look-out. A 15-year-old boy was also arrested.

Police responded to a 911 call just before 1:00 a.m. in the 2600 block of Central Fwy. The caller said two masked individuals were outside the building.

Upon arrival, officers located Fugett and the teen. A mask and bb air pistol were also found at the scene.

Police arrested Fugett without incident. However, a police report said the teen fought officers by hitting and kicking them. The report said the teen also threatened the officer’s families.

Fugett is charged with attempted aggravated robbery and possession of drug paraphernalia.  The juvenile is charged with Aggravated Robbery, Failure to Identify, Resisting Arrest, Assault on a Public Servant and Retaliation
