OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla_GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump is expected to touch down at Wiley Post Airport ahead of his appearance at the Oklahoma State Fair.
It's less than 12 hours away from this highly anticipated visit from the GOP front runner. With more than 12,000 people expected to be at the fairgrounds, Oklahoma City Police are ramping up their security. Police officials say they will have more than 100 officers on duty. Some Oklahoma Sheriff's deputies will be on horses, and others up on watch towers. Two groups have registered to protest the event, and the police are working with the fair organizers to make sure the event runs smoothly.
Oklahoma Republicans are hoping that Trump will be Trump by paying for people's fair admission, and to go around signing shirts and hats.
Fair organizers say if you are coming to see Trump to plan ahead for traffic, and that you can't bring chairs or signs into the fair. All you need to see Trump is a state fair pass. He will be at the Bandshell Stage around 5:30 tonight, and could start his speech around 6:30.
