Early morning drug raid lands 7 in jail

LAWTON, Okla._An early morning drug raid in Lawton landed 7 of Comanche County's most influential cocaine dealers behind bars.

Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, with the help of Lawton Police Department and the Comanche County Sheriff's office, ended a 6-month cocaine trafficking investigation Friday morning.

Officials said this was a "surgical operation" targeting a group of 8 that would routinely bring as much as a kilo of cocaine from Dallas into Lawton. Many of the men arrested also have gang ties and lengthy criminal records.

They will be booked in the Comanche County Detention Center, and face several charges, including Trafficking of Controlled Dangerous Substances. One suspect is still at large.

32-year-old Christopher Staton

33-year-old Ramondo Carr

41-year-old Robert Gaines
